Hearing loss increases the risk of dementia by nearly 2 folds. It is known to be the highest modifiable risk factor for dementia. Early detection and treatment of hearing loss may prevent dementia. Currently, WHO recommends to early screen for hearing loss from age 50 , we will guide you how to do this and designing your program for suit your country. This program could be the best shot at preventing dementia, you can be part of an innovative program that will make a difference. Our training will give you a foundation in this topic and allow you to return to your country with the knowledge to make changes. We will support you in this journey as we are passionate about changing lives. The program is collaborative work between Chulalongkorn University and the Johns Hopkins Cochlear Center for Hearing and Public Health, targeting ASIA healthcare leaders who are keen on helping older adults with hearing problems.
